    The Frame Game:
Tips on choosing the most flattering frames.

Finding the right eyeglass frame can sometimes be a daunting task, but at Spex Optical we assure you can find the right frame with our Certified Optician. Choosing a frame shape that contrasts with the shape of your face will provide greater cosmetic appeal. Frames that are in scale with your face size are best and should fit your face so your eyes are centered in the frames. Some factors than can help you maximize certain facial features are:

    1. To shorten a high forehead, the frame should be even with the brow or slightly higher.
    2. A clear bridge can offset close set eyes
    3. Low, dark straight bridges shorten the nose
    4. Decorative or constrasting temples can widen a narrow face
